Owner/President
Josh Schmieder, who devotes every waking minute to the company, loves entrepreneurship, the green industry and working outdoors. He values honesty, respect, and exceeding customer’s expectations. In addition to managing the company full-time, Josh attends Genesee Community College (GCC) for Business Administration, Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) for Landscape Design and Horticulture, and has obtained many industry certifications.
Designer/Project Manager
Chris Nichols (C.J.), a very personable and hard working professional, graduated from Alfred State University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Development. He has been in the industry for seven years, has high goals and expectations and intends to grow with our company.
Lawn Maintenance Division Manager
Rob Deignan is our Lawn Maintenance expert. He has been in the industry for ten years, including many years working for another large landscaping firm. Rob is a hard-working, honest, motivated, productive part of our team. Rob has attended FLCC for business administration.
Office Manager
Nancy Schmieder, an active member of the company from its inception, started part time answering phones and helping with bookwork. As the company has grown, Nancy has developed additional office skills and now handles most of the routine office transactions.
Landscaping Team Leader (Foreman)
Todd McMillan received his Associates Degree in Horticulture and Business Management from FLCC and has been actively involved in all aspects of the industry for eight years. Todd is known for his ability to turn a creative design into a landscape masterpiece.
Lawn Maintenance Team Leader (Foreman)
Jess Rawleigh is our new lawn maintenance team leader. He has graduated with his conservation degree from FLCC and loves the outdoors. He is excited to continue to grow with our company and looks forward to a career in the green industry. Jess is being promoted because of his devotion to quality and his ability to lead.
Lawn Maintenance Team Leader (Foreman)
Dana Rawleigh is devoted to quality service and workmanship. He attributes his outstanding work ethic to growing up on a farm. Dana has attended many horticulture certificate programs, most notably Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Rochester Landscape Technicians Program.
